    It was just a comment, not a condemnation. And I know 2000 is a good os. If it never existed, we wouldnt have 2000 drivers to force some components to work with xp.

    yes, am am quite aware of how to get the look and feel (as well as a few other things) to act like win2k. It was just an example from when I first started useing winxp. If you've seen some of my screen shots, it should be painfully obvious that I use the 'old' style (that is, when I actaully use windows...)

    *although, I must admit, this is what I missed the most, and took me a little while to find out how to remedy it (don't know why M$ has it off by default):

    I've gone too far and need to move on!
