Thread: Thermal Take Fan Controller

    I installed my Volcano 7+ with artic 3 its already knocked off 6c from the CPU temps case temp is around 32 now. (CPU 48 idle) Two questions. Will the temperature dop anymore after the Artic 3 has bedded in. Also where has everyone placed there switch for the fan. Mines kinda hanging out the back of one of the PCI slots.

    I did not use the fan connector . I just ran it straight up for free flow fanning , and then hid the fanspeed wire i did not use it either .:2cents:

    In the back of my case there are places for the serial type connectors. I fitted mine into one of them.
    The other v7+ i got is hooked up to rheosbus, so I got little more control over fan speed.

    :D i got 1 of these and hocked it up the the speed controler
    full speed --6300rpm
    med speed --4800rpm
    low speed--3300rpm

    i did the same but with a hardcano 5, i just ordered a hardcano 9 so i'm probably gonna switch it out, we'll see how good it works
