    I have a cooler of a damaged atx power suply.Can i connect that cooler to my motherboard or in other place??
    please help...

    If you have a fan from a power supply and you want to take it out and use it as a case fan you can.
    You might have to put the proper connector or something on it. Otherwise it should be fine.

    I guys , i have tried to put the fan on the pc but i dont have place to connect that on my motherboard. My motherboard support fanīs with 3 pins and the fan i want have only 2 pins.

    i think one of those is to tell you the RPM of the fan thats spinning, i think its the yellow one.

    i got one of my exhaust fans from a 10 year old AT psu.

    i actually cut the end off and used the extra connector that comes with the Tt volcano 9c, hotwired:P its great

    Korda,

    Whats color are the wires coming off your fan. They should be one black and one red.
    If you can, run them off a molex connector if you have the extra wiring and experience to rewire it. Make sure to solder the connections if you can to ensure properly making the connection.
    There are 3 to 4 wire connectors, with an aux yellow/rpm wire that you can purchase for $2.99 from most computer stores.....
