That's a whitewater block right? Man those things are sexy. It doesn't look like the previous owner took good care of it though so you might want to watch out for buildup inside of it.

You might want to consider a Dannor 300gph pump too. They're stronger than the eheims and hydors.

I wonder if you boiled that waterblock in some TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) if it'd clean up? That works well for getting deposits off of coffee machine parts. I can't wait to see it either :thumb:

Actually the acid in Tomatos, which don't seem acidic when eating(which I won't do, takes like slime to me, actually works for several applications.
There are a lot of other household items that double for other household cleaning items. Those books that supply them are worth the money just for the pure suprising factor, let alone the applications they come in handy for.

    Chez:cheers:

Looks like 1/2" fittings. In combination with Eheim 1048 it will flush the water pretty fast. But then again the WW block requires quite a big flow (i've read it *cough*somewhere else*cough*)
But the Danner 300Gph is overkill. That will just create bubles.
Are you going for an inline system, or with reservoir?
