    Current Setup:

    I'm also sticking in a 9800XT

I'm not planning on OC'ing anything atm, will a 380W psu with 2 120mm fans be enough? Will I be able to OC a bit?

    Thanks.

There should be enough cooling though an 80mm side intake fan over the AGP/PCI slots could help but anything more would likely have that PSU wantin' for more. Also I noticed that ya order includes a CD burner and a CDROM, consider a DVD drive instead of the CDROM.

I know you said you didnt want to overclock, but if you wanted to save $100 than I would just get a 3000+ and overclock it to a 3200+... As a 3000+ and 3200+ are exactly the same except for the clock speeds....:2cents:

    The 3200+ has twice the L2 capacity of the 3000+ (1MB vs.512KB).

Wow, I didn't know that... Are all the new 64 Bit AMD's coming with 1 Meg L2 cache?

No. Only "Clawhammer" cored A64's carry the 1MB L2 cache were as the "Newcastle" cored A64's carry the 512KB L2 cache. The 3700+ will be the of last 1MB "Clawhammers" but this page should help clear things up a bit better.

A lot of software is coming on DVD now. A DVD-ROM isn't much more than a CD-ROM, and it would future-proof your machine a bit more. Also, unless you already have a larger drive, you can do a lot better than 40GB for $88. Try NewEgg for better prices on many of your items, including a 120GB version of the same drive you selected for just a couple bucks more.

I was really thinkin' about the game packs that come out now on DVD instead of multiple CD's.
