Thread: Crazy cooling idea

Would it be possible to mount a computer case inside a tucker-box freezer and have all the cables coming out of drilled holes in the roof and and the keyboard and monitor and stuff set up normal. But would the freezer make ESD and kill the Mobo and the CPU? Imagine the overcolocking potential!

Ah yes we've had this one before but it would be very impractical and dangerous (to equipment).

    Oh come on wiggo!

Isn't all overclocking this day in age kind of impractical ?? (as far as actual benefit) (apart from Intel stock HSF OC'ing)

If you are gonna do it, water cool it in a freezer!! Hahaha... Awww yea..

Cooling is but 1 consideration when overclocking.
Even liquid nitrogen is only able to offer a certain amount of potential in regards to overclocking a system.

Granted! If you want to overclock, keeping it cool is a factor --- but keep in mind that there are other factors as well that all the cold in the universe are not going to address.

the main problem with that would be condensation on your system....not a very good thing:afro:
