what is with the tiny ass fan asus used on their Ti4600???
anyone know if it can be replaced?? something like an orb
    maybe??
i tried pulling it off,, but it seems to be epoxied onto the gpu,,
this is a *****,, the fan thats on there looks like it wudnt be able to blow a spec of dust of the heatsink, which also looks like its made out of plastic.
i have installed tweakmaster ramsinks on the card,,, they work really really well.. definately a worthwhile investment:D

lol well i suggest u get rid of teh stock cooler and get a thermaltake geforce4 GPU cooler later....to get rid of teh epoxy freeze your card ain an airtie bag in teh freezer for a few hrs or so and then the heatsink should come off with a but of twisting or levering:cheers:

But realise that not only will ya void any warranty but there is a chance of killin' the card as well. :smokin:

i was just thinking about that! dunno if its worth it...
well,, put it this way,,, if i do get the Tt gf4 cooler,, will it greatly improve the performance of my card? or should i just stick a fan under the core?

It would pay ya to have a fan mounted in the side panel drawing in fresh air directly over the card. :smokin:

It's a good idea so long as that fan is drawing outside air. :smokin:
