    :afro: what is the best hsf out there. i dont care about the cost or the noise, i just wanna know the best. : peace:

    Well at this moment it would have to be the Thermalright SLK-800 ;)

    I haven't read of any complaints, but it looks as if it could be sturdier.

    The fan pictured above looks to be an 80mm x 80mm x 38mm monster. The Thermaltake Smart Fans are 80mm x 80mm x 25mm but provide an adjustable fan setting that maxes out at just over 75CFM airflow and less noise. :)

    Would that same retention mechanism work then or is there a way to screw it down?

    There are several positions for the fan retainer to clip into so it can take most size fans from 60mm thru to the largest 80mm fans. ;)
