Hi, I am just curios about the temp of my 1700+ cpu. here is my setup:

    AMD 1700+cpu
    Soyo K7V Dragon + mobo (via266a)
    256mb 2100ddr ram
    radeon 8500
    winxp pro

Ok, after working on the computer all day, quite a bit on the net, a few games now and then, but I mean computers on for like 14 hours the temp in the bios monitor says the cpu temp is 49-50 degrees. Is this a normal temp ???? I am using a thermaltake volcano 5 for the cooling and no extra fans.

I am also wondering what a quite CPU fan you guys would reccomend? This one is too load and it gets annoying after a while so any recomendations are welcome.

    Thanks

    Andrew

You need a volcano 7+, artic silver 3 , nd some more case fans,at least 2 more (1 front bottom, 1 back top)

Yeah I wouldn't want to see 45c in BIOS with that board. ;)
