Ya'd have to make a 70mm to 80mm fan adaptor (unless someone is finally making these) and the SMART FAN II is adjustable either automatically or manually but I don't find the noise on high pleasent (one here atm givin' me a headache drowning out almost everything). ;)

Just stick with the fan that's on it as I can guarantee that the SMART FAN II is much louder and it's speed controller not as easy to place. ;)

Why would you mind noise...i mean i can barely hear my Vol. 7+ at full speed with my three 120mm fans on...plus i have 5 other 80mm an empty drive bay with a drive bay cooler ...plus 2 HD heatsink with 2 fans each...alotta fans that take over Vol 7+ noise...so i don't even bother getting something quiet for it.

well all i can say about the v7+ is it's a great cooler for decent price. to mod the v7+ u would need to make a new shroud for it seeing that the 70mm is housed in a house shape shroud so it's gonna be hard to make 1 but not impossible give the right tools. And @ low it's pretty quiet.:thumb:
