    What is the max temperatures of the xp2000 and xp2200 chips?I don't want the chips to overheat..thanks

    Normally I'd say keep it under 50c but I've had them work fine till 65c (Gigabyte board then reboot on error) but it would be good to let us know the motherboard as some do read higher than others. In fact give as ya room, system and CPU temps and that would help even better. ;)

    I always shoot for a temperature no higher than 45C under load, but that is my personal number. Most folks go for under 50C and it works well.

    Yes try to keep it below 50c up to 60c shouldnt worry it but when it gets passed 70 then u start to worry but it wont start to damage until it hits 90c which is damn hot. So always a rule of thumb provide good cooling good airflow and u should be right :thumb:
