If ya goin' to upgrade the HSF then get the 7+ or 11 but leave the 7 and 9 alone as they're just not that good plus both are noisier than the 7+. ;)
Also does ya case/system temp drop while runnin' with the case open? :?:
No point in upgradin' the HSF if there's no cool fresh air to work with.

The 7+ would've been better and quieter but what can I say to ppl that don't listen?

I have to agree on that one.
    7+ are great!

Yeah ive heard the 7+ is better performer all around. As for my case I have a fan on the side of the case and 2 more inside excluding the power supply. I also have a vent on the other side of my case. Im pretty sure my circulation is good, the 2 inside are blowing toward mobo and the outside case fan is an exauhst, should i maybe reverse my power supply fan to make it exauhst also? Im also going to add a ghetto slot fan behind my video card blowing toward the back of it to help cool it and also give me a broader air flow over the mobo. But with already haveing a lot of fans adding another one will make it even louder. Ive heard about people makeing a 12 volt fan run at 7 volts to decrease noise and only a slight decrease in performance anyone know how to do this??

They are spose to exhaust air so maybe you should turn it around or just have it replaced. ;)
