Wiggo - Same thoughts here. With so little fluid and such short fluid travel, the coolant just doesn't have enough time or space to keep cool. However, my buddy has a local computer shop which is geared toward the more serious enthusiast. I told him about this product and I had him convince 1CoolPC.com to send him a unit for testing and review. And, being the good frien that he is, he will be letting me test it out. So, as soon as I get the unit, I will begin testing it. I will post a review when I'm finished. It should be in about 3 weeks.

    I got a 87' GT V6 Fastback w/ wing delete & T-tops, auto... I'd prefer manual.

I visit www.fiero.nl , that's where I got most of my help on fixing it up. I'm sure you've heard of it, Archie is always there. I was thinking about doing a V8 conv, but decided against it.... for now. I love the choptop look they do.

Last month I think it was, someone got there '85 (I believe) to get 11.68 in the 1/4! Pretty nice. There's a video there somewhere.

Ok here's a little water coolin' experiment that I'll be tryin' soon that can serve 2 purposes. ;)

Now I'll get away with a/c in the house and shop but I won't get away with it in the workshop so...... I have these 2 leaky evaporative air coolers, 2 tubs to sit them in and with all these retail HSF's that I have here I'll stick a petlier between 2 and remove the fan from the cold heatsink and stick that end into the tub which the water is in and wella chilled water which in turn means chilled air. :D

Now I setup a radiator to the front of that aircooler to cool an overclocked XP1800+ (they're cheap enough) and hopefully by doin' it this way I negate condensation probs within the case. I'd only need the water chiller runnin' durin' summer anyway. :devil win

Maybe you could draw up some rough plans and post them for us to look at.

    Draw?

Just picture me in my "Garden Shed" bein' cooled by the evaporative aircooler (do you guys over there have these things?) as the liquidcooled radiator is bein' done as well while the PC and me are are several feet away. :D

Only shed air contacts the chilled water and transfers that to the radiator so hopely if any condensation occurs then it should be on the outside of the radiator if anywhere several feet from the PC itself seein' as I'm not directly chillin' the PC's liquid. :devil win

Today I received my unit for testing. I'm at work so my first test is to let it run for a few hours until I leave. It's been running for 3 hours now and it seems to run great. The coolant inside flows very well. I was suprised at that. Before I fired it up I felt the surface which will be in contact with the CPU to see how warm or cold it was. After running the hsf for an hour, I felt it again and it had become a lot cooler. I will be installing this unit in my system later tonight when I get home. I will run the usuall tests and benchmarks and I will post more as I get the results. I will also include pics before, during, and after setup.
