    what does CFM mean and what does it do? then sound??? whats better? 30cfm or 70 cfm?

    it tells how much air is being moved, and 70cfm is better, but generally louder.

    if u wanna compare how loud 2 fans are use the decibel (dB) ratings in each of their specs, higher is louder. In the end you have to decide whether u want a high cfm fan that makes a lot of noise, or if u can live with a lower cfm fan that is much quieter. :cheers: :cheers:
