Thread: true temp????

    well with my MB came the program ASUS probe 2


    and i also got MBM 5

    well only running the ASUS it tells me my temp is 48 c


    running only MBM5 my temp is 58 c


    trying to run both at the same time tells me that theres a 10 deggre diffrence


    what one can i trust on i would love to say the lower one???


    just dont want to fry my chip

    well does anyone else know of a good program that will moniter my temps?

    well now ive tryed 3 diffrent cpu temp monitor programs


    ASUS probe temp 48 c
    MBM5 59 c
    Hardware sensor monitor 48 c


    so what one do you thing is right?


    still looking for other programs that will monitor this

    Does your board have a via chipset cus if it does try VIA motherboard moniter

    VIA Hardware Monitor is kinda dodgy..... a hardware based solution such as a Winbond monitoring chip is much more accurate :thumb:

    When you reach idle or load temps, restart and enter your bios. Goto the 'PC Health' section (or whatever its called for your particular mobo model) and see what that says.

    MBM5 may be incorrectly configured too. Goto their homepage and see what they have to say about your mobo make/model

    I would trust mbm5!

    I use VCool as a monitor (with shutdown options) and a cpu cooler...very good
    The older I get...the better I was
