I tried to build a quiet PC at directron.com, but it is so loud it is in the closet. However I got a bunch of great ideas tonight from a site called http://store.yahoo.com/siliconacoustics/index.html which handles a lot of products from Zalman. The seller had good feedback at http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2770.html

I plan on picking up a a heat sink for my AMD761 Northbridge, a heat sink for my ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon 32MB DDR (with a PCI slot fan), a heat sink with a separate cooling fan for my Athlon Thunderbird 1GHz CPU (with a voltage regulator to run it in silent mode), and a 12.0 dB(A) fan for my Enermax EG365P-VE power supply (eliminating 1 fan altogether from a recommendation at http://www.silentpcreview.com/module...artid=9&page=2).

How's that for some seriously quiet cool

arggg not this again, zalmans = bad coolers, were talking about 10-13C difference between the zalman and a volcano 7+, but then its the fact...performance vs. noise so its up to you
