Thread: Do I have to much air in my PC?

    Hi peeps

I'm at work and I am more than slightly bored. So I thought I'd ask a question. In my setup I am getting temps that are fairly reasonable,

    Idle

    CPU 28
    MB 25 ish

    Load
    CPU 38-40
    MB 35

I have 3 intake fans and one outtake at the top of the PC. Is there too many intake fans? Obviously if the air is being pumped in faster than in can be extracted then its going to linger rasing temps, I think.

I suppose I could experiment tonight.

There's nothin' wrong with those temps but have ya included the power supply fan? :?:

No I have a separte out take. I didn't include the PSU fan because I don't think it really makes a lot of difference to the temps inside the case. Isn't just there to draw air throught the PSU to keep that cool?

I think I just want to play with my P4 system as my AMD system is in bits whilist the motherboard is being repaired.
