When I had to reset the bios on my motherboard, I forgot to reset the clock in XP and I finished three WU's in the time between the reset and when I figured out the month said september and it is november. So I just checked my rating and it should say I have 6 Wu's finished while the site thinks I only have 3, would the fact that the months were skrewed up have anything to do with the WU's not showing up?

I dont think it would. as far as I know, the WU is sent no matter what date is on it. It might have been sidelined as corrupt, but it would still show up, even if it only gave you a couple of points.

Is folding@home an example of grid computing or is it a beowulf cluster? Is there a difference between the two? From what I've read there's really not much difference.

the easiest way to install folding on a windows pc is to use service gui - available here http://devel.bluetentacle.co.uk/dc/fahservice/index.htm

I've used it to install folding on over a hundred PC's

it makes it very easy on dual processor (or more) PC's
