What drivers would you recommend for an ATi Radeon 9700?
I'm currently using the latest catalyst drivers, 3.7 i think.

What does any1 else use for this card?

I heard the new catalyst drivers get released on the 8th of Oct, should i stick with them?

Also, what tweaking program should i use.

    Thankyou

i dont use radeon cards but you can search for rivatuner on google and download that to tweak. and whatever drivers you do decide to use, get them from omegacorner.com theyre better. theyre tweaked and faster and what not:thumb:

Can you notice a big difference in the performance?
How do you enter the video card bios?

i dont know about the video card bios. when you overclock you can notice like 1000 points or more in 3dmark. you dont really need to overclock w/ rivatuner right now though because the 9700 is more than enough to play games. overclock you cpu because thats a lot cheaper to replace than a 9700. when you start having trouble playin games, then overclock the 9700, because thats when those 5-10 extra frames per second will come in handy:thumb:

another option is flashing the bios to turn your 9700 into a 9700 pro. search on google for "9700 into a 9700 pro" and read about it because theres a lot you need to know first before you do this
