    Dear Sir,

not sure you just want to overclocking the Memory modules or your CPU, that's different! And you can overclocking the memory frequency to 1600 with 7-7-7-18/1.55v, let me know if you can make it or not.

When I go into the bios and tell my motherboard to clock the ram at 1600 @ 7-7-7-18/1.55v like you said it wont post, it wont even do it at 1333. the voltage running them at 1066 according to my bios is 1.59. Shouldn't I have to up that to get them to post at 1600? Thanks for any help.

try the 7-8-7-24 first@1333Mhz, you can raising the DRAM voltage up to 1.65v, CPU voltage to 1.3v and try again.
if the voltage still can't make it post, you may need to lower the timing to OC.

how about try to OC your memory module with CL 9-9-9-24-2T(n)(1333Mhz or 1600Mhz), because CL7 is pretty tight and may not able to OC with CL7.

I actually tried that and it didn't work for me, I also tried 1600Mhz 10-9-9-25 at 1.56v that a review on newegg said worked and it didn't work for me either. So I sent them back to Newegg and ordered G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL. Since my motherboard supports 2133 I might be back to ask about those soon. Thanks for your help =)

    Hi Ezz1r

if you planning OC to 1600MHz, you can just enable the XMP profile in BIOS, and the system will automatically load the correctly settings.
