    Dear RyanJ
    Please update your bios to the latest version, if already there will want to clear the CMOS before the bios configuration (Manual bios setting is required for 1600MHz and above with AMD platform), the system bios should configure as follows (please ensure the kit was installed properly in the same color slots):

    1. Set DRAM Frequency to DDR3-1866MHz.
    2. Set timings to tCL 9 – tRCD 10 - tRP 9 - tRAS 28-Command Rate 2T.
    3. Set DRAM Voltage to 1.50V.

    If the issue still occurs after, would you please kindly provide the Full model number of your motherboard? and how many 1866Mhz kit are you running? we are glad to assist you any time, sorry for your inconvenience and you have a nice day

    When looking at the dram freq in the bios on manual clock (default) it shows 1600, there is a profile to pick which is the timings of the memory.
    If I select that profile which is 1866, the system will not post. Have tried this in DDR3 A1/B1 and A2/B2. Manual recommends A2/B2 slots for 1866.
    Even if I try a modest manual over clock the system will not post. I will give another try later and report.

    My pc:
    MB=AsRock 970 extreme3, bios 1.2
    MEM=2 4g sticks of F3-14900CL9-GBXL
    PROC= AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3ghz am3 "FD6100WMGUSBX"
    OS=Win 7 ultimate 64 bit
    Video card=2 Sapphire 6790 / crossfire mode
    HD=500gb sata WD black
    PS=500w Antek earth power.

    Dear RyanJ
    Please try the configuration below:

    1. Set DRAM Frequency to DDR3-1600MHz.
    2. Set timings to tCL 9 – tRCD 10 - tRP 9 - tRAS 28-Command Rate 2T.
    3. Set DRAM Voltage to 1.50V.
    4. Set voltage from 1.25v~1.3v, and CPU-NB Voltage from 1.3v~1.35v
    5. Set CPU Ratio 14.5.
    6. Set FSB Frequency 234=1872Mhz
    If the issue still occurs after, would you please try only one module at a time to avoid faulty module? we are glad to assist you any time, sorry for your inconvenience and you have a nice day
