    That's true. But, unfortunately, a lot of LCD screens are coming out now with a native resolution of 1280*1024. I've got a 17" Benq LCD, and have trouble with a couple games that don't support that resolution. Battlefield 1942 is the main problem. The game looks fine, but the text doesn't draw properly at any resolution, so it's a struggle to read. :(

    Beefy are you playing battlefield with AF and AA on? Cause i have the same problem...and it goes away after i turn off AF and AA in ati control panel.

    if you turn off AF and AA the in-game text reads just fine (at least at 1024x768). But with some of the more recent patches the text seems to have gotten easier to read with AA and AF compared to the early versions.
    I've gone too far and need to move on!

    Tried that. it helped a little, but the screen can't quite handle that ratio properly.

    How do you run at 1280x1024? It's not a selectable resolution...

    Not bad for RX-7. I have a pic of 241.5mph or something a couple screens back in the Skyline.
