y'all want a free mmorpg that really does have decent graphics? try Planeshift (flash intro)
At this point it is still considered an alpha, but as of last october they had registered 100,000 unique players in less than 6 months.

yet another great contribution from the open-source community :)

*available for both Windows and Linux

I've gone too far and need to move on!

You know... I'm sure it is a interesting game... The thing is, i have to much time invested in DAoC to try other MOG's.

    I did pre-order UT2004 though:woot:

I would play many MMORPGs, but the fact that you have to pay monthly for the good ones just kills me ever being able to play the,. because I just cant afford it.

    But I do play www.muonline.com

    It is a great Diablo2 ripoff:cheers:

Wow, just tried plane shift, and it is amazing, once they release that new patch, it will be like a free EQ, and I will definitely be playing it a lot, but until then there is just nothing to really do

Currently playing FFXI, and enjoying it *much* more than the other MMO's I've played.

FFXI did peak my interest.... The only thing that kills it for about most games the lack of PvP. I'm not saying that makes it less of a game, I guess I'm just used to PvP.

Even now after 2 years, my heart rate still goes up when I move in for a Critical Strike on an enemy player. Killing monsters is fun, but killing other peoples Toons is a rush:D

PvP is in the works for FFXI, its generally expected to be released in March, along with the PS2 version of FFXI... not completely sure how its going to work (I know its going to be restricted to a 'neutral zone' type idea), but its already causing a *lot* of speculation, and should be interesting :)
