hey guys! I'm thinking of having a small lan (5 or 6 ppl) and want to know what should a "game server's" specs be? I was thinking of using my second pc.

    XP1800+
    ECS K7S5A Pro
    768mb PC2700
    Ti4200 128mb

would this be quick enough? thanks!

mainly going to play, Far Cry & BF1942+mods & BFV and maybe some UT2003/4

If you are talking about running a seperate dedicated server on which no one is playing, then it's more than enough. If you were to run the server on the same computer you play the game from, you would probably notice some minor performance loss.

Then it should make a great server. You can forget the word "lag" entirely.
