Default Blast from the near past.

Does anyone still play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory?

Not I. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (being made by the same developers as Wolfenstein: ET) looks like it has the potential to be a BF2-killer, but definitely no Wolfenstein: ET here. I'd rather play CoD2 or DoD:S for WW2 action, and I'd rather play CS:S, F.E.A.R., and BF2 in-general.

Well, i played the crap out of CoD 2, fear just plain freaks me out, i played it 3 times since i got it for X-mas and I haven't since, but when i want no holds barred intensity and ridiculous combat I go for ET. But far cry isn't bad.

Far Cry is great, but I'm not a big fan of the multiplayer.

You should try Day of Defeat: Source and Counter-Strike: Source.

Oh hell yeah, but I guess I just assumed we were talking about shooters only. I still play some Starcraft once in a while, though never the regular game.

How about that starcraft mod for WCIII? I haven't played it, but it looks sweet. I think Blizz sued the person who made the mod too. Go figure, a company stops making decent games so we go out of our way to make what we really want, and they sue you. Gotta love the not-so-free market. That should have been a huge red light to them. Starcraft 2...if only. Starcraft is still the best game out there and you don't need 18 video cards, 10 cpu's, and 50 gigs of ram to play it. That's all I do in the mac labs during my classes. Thank god macs are good for something...
