    Default Gaming Mouse

I want to treat myself to a gaming mouse. Was considering the Logitech MX518. Any comments or recommendations?

I have the G7 and it is amazing. Battery life is short, but as long as you get the retail version it comes with 2 batteries.

I just got a G5 and it's a lot better than any mouse I've ever used for gaming - I kinda wanted to go wireless, and the chord does get to me, but the G7's battery life is what detered me. If it was rechargeable (with a charging stand), then I'd definitely have gone for that.

G7 does come with a charger, and it has 2 batter packs. Unless you mean a charging stand like the mx1000

The G7 definitely comes with a charger and 2 battery packs. The battery lasts me 12+ hours constant use and up to 5 days if I only use my PC 4-6 hours a day. THe battery fully charges within 24hours. I am sorry, but being that annoyed to change a battery more often is silly when it is so simple and takes 20 seconds to do so.

I didn't realize that it comes with rechargable batteries - I guess that isn't so bad, but if you have to charge it for 24 hours, I still feel like it's a hassle. I have an MX revolution too, and even though you do have to charge it, it seems like you wouldn't have to for at least several days, even if you leave the mouse on.
