Thread: tweak my pc for DAOC

    hello
    i am playing much daoc ...(dark age of camelot)
    it is the only game running on my pc
    i plan to reformat soon and use the tweaktown guides to tune my computer

    nevertheless is see no tweaking guides for dark age of camelot

    so could you help me tweak it in a optimal way for this game ...

    any advices are welcomed

    Unfortunately a Dark Age of Camelot tweak guide doesn't seem likely at the moment. However the good news is that DAOC uses the same engine as Morrowind, so if you look at my Morrowind Tweak Guide a lot of the performance advice, ini file changes and console commands should be the same. Sorry I can't do better than that at the moment.

    Just so you know, the engine both these games use is called NetImmerse. This graphics engine has some performance issues in that even very high end machines can have relatively low performance (low fps) with Morrowind for example.

    If you do find you performance isn't as great as you expected and you've read my Morrowind guide, then it's simply a case of the game engine not being as optimal as it could be.
