I suggest to use Intel ports.
If you use Marwell ports,be sure to install drivers prior move to Marwell.

Hi and welcome to our forum.
Did your USB is FAT32 formatted, bootable and set in BIOS as first boot?
How you copy bootable ISO (Win 8) to your USB?

Question PC won't load past the MoBo logo

Hi, So I'm fairly new to this. this is also my first post so sry if I leave anything out

Ok so just built my first pc two days ago and have been plagued with problems from the get go ( only minor so far, ram in the incorrect channels ect...), however the newest one has defeated me.
When i power up my PC the MoBo logo screen comes up with all the options at the bottom (Bios setup, boot mean, ect..) however these are only displayed for about 2 second then they disappear and the screen just sits at the logo! nothing eles happens!
I can enter the bios page if I'm quick enough before the options at the bottom of the page disappear, but when they do disappear non of the keys work.

This is what is in my PC:

    <label for="motherboard">MotherBoard:</label> Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
    <label for="processor">Processor: </label>i5-4570K
    RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) corsair Vengeance
    Video Card: Gigabyte HD 7950
Hard Drive 1: Curcial 240GD 2.5" SSD (Took this from my old laptop so already has Win 8 on it)
Hard Drive 2: Western Digital Black 1TB 7200rpm 3.5 (brand new, nothing on it)
    PSU: Corsair TX Series 850w

All parts, excep the SSD are new (bought them all less than a week ago)

I have been trying so solve this problem for a whole day now and have absolutely no idea what is could be.
The PC did Boot successfully 0nce last night but for no reason that i could see.
Any help what so ever would be massively appreciated.
    Thanks.

Hi and welcome to our forum.
First,I'll suggest to flash with latest BIOS (F8e...posted today).
If you still have same problem, take out 1 stick or RAM and boot with only 1 stick (all in Default mode).
Be sure to set proper boot order in BIOS....and hope your video card is in first (top) slot.

    Hi,
So I have flashed with the lasted bios as you suggested but that didn't do it so I tried with on of the RAM sticks out... still no luck.
swapped the sticks still no improvement.
I have double checked the boot sequence and that's fine (ssd with the os installed on it is first)
and yes the video card is in the right slot (the top one) :p

Try without video card, connect your screen DVI cable to motherboard back panel (enable in BIOS...if is disabled).
    (disconnect power from video card)

I am using and HDMI cable but it's already plugged into the MoBo.
Unpluged the video card and tried but still nothing.
However i have discovered that the PC dose actually boot up with or without the video card, but it takes over twenty minutes! could this be a problem with SSD?
    Thanks for bearing with me!
    really appreciate it.
