hello there i just bought a motherboard ga-ep35c-ds3r. i installed the motherboard and i have some problem similar with other people have here . when i try to boot my pc after windows logo (loading) i get a blue screen that last 2-3 secs, this ,and then restart by itself, and again and again. i checked and rechecked if i installed the hardware as it should be and all is ok,i change ram and gpu in case that something is not supported but still the same situation remains.any suggestions of what happening here?

notice:i dont overclocked my sytem,i use the defaults.

    What BIOS are you using?

And can you list your full specs for me, and give me your full BIOS settings you are using in a template from the link in my signature

BIOS version you can see by pressing F9 on the MAIN page of the BIOS.

Or you can look in the mainboard tab of CPU-z
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

I will advise you after I know this, because I will likely suggest for you to update before we proceeed any further. Don't get in a hurry and update using @BIOS!!!

If you do go ahead and update the BIOS please read my guide and use Qflash

BIOSes are here for this board

Are you sure your board is P35C and not EP35C?

If it is P35C then I do suggest you update the BIOS to the latest which is F13a, as F4 is very old
    http://www.station-drivers.com/telec...CDS3R.F13a.zip

Please follow the guide linked above then let me know when you have done that.

    For my reference later

Ahh cool, you have the latest BIOS already then!

    Try these settings

Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto or Fast]
    CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [7 X]
    Fine Clock Ratio ____________[+0.5]
    CPU Host Clock Control_ [disable]
    CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [333]
PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [auto] << Set 100
    C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [auto] << Set 2.40B for 800Mhz
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [auto] << Manual

    Performance Enhance = [Standard]..........

    CAS Latency Time________________ 5
    Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 5
    Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______5
    Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 15

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 3 auto or 3-4
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 3 auto or 3-6
Write to Precharge Delay_________ 5 auto or 4-6
Refresh to ACT Delay______________ 3 auto << Wow, are you sure it says 3 in the BIOS? If so, that and the voltages below might be the issue. You need 52-62 here for 4GB of memory
Read to Precharge Delay__________3 auto or 3-5
Static tRead Value_______________8 auto << Set 6-8 (lower is better but too low will be unstable or not boot, so try lower values later after you get going)
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 0 auto << Always Auto

    System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
DDR2/DDR3 OverVoltage Control__ [normal] << Set 1.8-1.9 (Auto (try first) for 1.8 or +0.05 for 1.85 or +0.1 for 1.9 - And the actual amount applied will be less than you set anyway, so you will be fine using 0.1 if your board does not have 0.05 increments and or Auto does not work)
    PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [normal]
    FSB OverVoltage Control___ [normal]
    (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [normal] << Set +0.2-0.3 for 4GB
    CPU Voltage Control_______ [normal]

Limit CPUID Max. to 3.....................: [Disabled]
    No-Execute Memory Protect............: [Enabled]
    CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)................: [enabled]
    C2/C2E State Support....................: [Disabled] ?????
    x C4/C4E State Support..................: [Disabled] ?????
CPU Thermal Monitor 2(TM2) ...........: [Enabled]
    CPU EIST Function.........................: [Disabled]
    Virtualization Technology................: [enabled]

    Integrated Peripherals

You can't give up so easy!!

Please give me the full exact settings you used, I gave ranges so I need to know what you tried.

They will work together, you just need to give it more tries until you find the right settings
