Default MEDAL OF HONOR AIRBORNE 10-15min of MPlayer it freezes

Any body else play MOH airborne.

    My System

    gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R MB,intel e6850 @ 3gig w/arctic 7 cooler, evga 8800gt 512mb SC 46'idle 65'full load , 2 gig patriot 6400 mem,corsair hx620 power,2 west dig 320 sata drives not in raid, antec 900 case(very cool temps).

Whats happening is I get in playing just fine then I get this still image along
with a very fast repeating sound similar to a mg42 in day of defeat. After that I usually have to soft boot to get out.

I've loaded the latest gfx drivers, tried two different 8800 cards with different drivers, updated newest bios F9, for rev1.
I turned off the onboard sound, tried different memory, still no go.

Is there some bios change that may help?

Anyone else running this kind of setup with any success in this game?

    Thanks
