Default GA-X38-DQ6 FSB and DDR2 Speed

Going through my Board specs, I noticed the following:
Front Side Bus: 1600/1333/1066/800 MHz FSB
    Memory: 4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM.....
    Dual Channel ........
Support for DDR2 1066/800/667 MHz memory modules

Since FSB values from the specs appear to be Quad-pump values, actual FSB would be max of 400 and min of 200Mhz, right ?

Now usually mem freq is derived from FSB with FSBx2,
hence max for this board is 400Mhz FSB , mem will run at 800MHz ???
The spec sayz 1066, indicating it can push to 533Mhz...

Something doesn't add up here, or maybe the FSB is not tied to mem directly in a FSBx2 formula... Can someone share some knowledge on this...

Yes CPU freq is 4X fsb

    Memory is 2X FSB

To go above 800 you either need higher FSB setting or use a memory Divider is the BIOS.

    For example>>>>

My XEON multi is Max 8

    8 X 450 FSB = 3.6 Ghz
    2 X 450 Memory Freq = 900Mhz At 1:1 divider (2.0 is BIOS)

Using a Divider for the above settings
    450 X 3.2(Memory Divider) = 1440 Mhz Memory Freq

so currently i'm running my CPU at stock 266x9 = 2.4Ghz.
Is my mem running at 266x2 ?

What do you have your memory sections set on? Did you look at the sticky I posted yet? It will explain all that to you but I can if you post this back for me

    *NOTE*
You may have more or less entries then this, this is for DS4, if you have more add them in, less leave them out. The Highlighted areas are what is going to tell me and you what your ram is running at.

ok, checked this now, the BIOS is displaying a read only field with 1066Mhz as the RAM speed, which should be the case.

I just updated to F8 BIOS y'day evening, so far so good, everything seems to be working. Yet to try the direct CPU fan to check if the fan will throttle according to temps. There was an issue in F7 where CPU fan was always running at 100%.
