Ok. So I just got done testing individual sticks in DIMMs 2 and 4.

For DIMM 2; Neither stick worked. The machine never POSTed and just cycled power with one stick in that DIMM. e.g POWER ON... 3 seconds... CYCLED POWER repeat.

For DIMM 4; Both sticks worked up until the windows loading screen. Just as I thought I was going to make it, the machine locked up.

    Any thoughts?

Hmm, that makes it sound like 1 bad slot, and some bad ram as well. Was that what your thoughts were?

Well, the RAM passes memtest in slots 1 and 3. So, I really don't know whats going on. LOL Half of me wants to RMA the board the other half wants to just say screw it and keep it since I don't need those slots anyway. For now and the foreseeable future, I run a stripped down version of XP pro. So 2 gigs is plenty fine. I just really don't want to deal with the hassle of tearing this rig down when its running perfectly otherwise.

Well let see. What are your MIT settings? Maybe you are still missing something? But yeah it should work just the same in 2-4 as it does in 1-3, mine does anyway

Well something new and interesting has happened. Today, while just surfing the net, the machine rebooted for no reason. I just wrote it off but it happened again. So it seems it likes to randomly reboot occasionally. Anyone else seeing this?

I ran MEMTEST again and these are the results. Could someone interpret for me. It seems like it locked up as you can see by the upper display, and I had to reset the computer to get out of it.

I might be missing something but that link goes to version 3.4, and just about everything else on there says 3.4 is the latest?
