    I didn't change the paste because I didn't want to take the board out of the case and couldn't see how to remove the heatsink without doing that. It's been ok as is with the fan, though, for a few days and a few prime95 stress tests.

    Why do you say non-conductive rather than conductive, though? What type do you use?

    I say that because there is bare pins and connection points under the NB heatsink other then the chip itself, and it is just safer that way. I use TX-2 or MX-2, but Arctic Ceramic would work just as well
