It appears that one of my Corsair XMS2 Pro Series stick was bad.

I am currently running 3 of them, without any issues. Two of them in Dual Channel mode.

Is it better to run in Flex Memory Mode with 3 GB or in Dual Channel with 2 GB, until I can get this bad stick replaced from Corsair?

I ordered these. Will RMA the pair of Corsair.

    Thanks for advice!

I think dual is better then flex, but it really depends on the sticks and timings, You would just have to test each way and see.

Good choice of ram, you will like those for sure

    Mushkin's installed and working.

Adjusted BIOS similar to post #10 of this thread.

Everything seems to be running fine after a couple of boots into both XP 32bit and Vista 64bit.

    Thanks.

32 bit OS will top at 3GB of memory. For 4GB install 64 bit OS.
