Exclamation GA-EP35-DS3L Not Holding CPU Bus Settings in BIOS ???

I have my Intel e7200 cpu overclocked at 400Mhz x 9.5steps to 3.8Ghz & it can encode video @100% cpu usage without crashing. The system went idle for 24hrs left on after finishing some encoding... then I put the CPU into 100% load doing more video encoding. Strangely, the CPU was reset at stock bus speed settings. I went into BIOS and saw the 400Mhz bus CPU settings changed to auto! I have the energy savings turned off in MIT, so the clock (bus speed) should not have gone to auto ...down when the cpu usage was at a minimum??? Any comments or thoughts?
