I can't get Gigabyte to acknowledge there is an issue.

Other than that, I can only suggest what seemed to work for me.

    1. Power off, Reset the CMOS (via jumper or pulling the battery). Power back on.
    2. Go to BIOS setup, and load "Optimized Defaults". Save and quit.
    3. After the reboot, go back to BIOS setup and disable "C1E" and "EIST". Change your VCore. Save and quit again.
    4. After that reboot, go back to BIOS and check "PC Health Status" to see what your VCore is at. If it has changed from your default, then go ahead and set other BIOS options to your liking.
After resetting it a few times, I've had good luck with the VCore sticking.

Yes they are as long as it is not spamming another site. If you want to list a link to a site where there is further discussion about this subject or beta BIOS's available feel free to do so.

Such as this one for 965P boards >>>
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=109719

many P35 Beta's can be found here at softpedia (Just do a search)
    http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDow...oad-33658.html

Beta's also available here as well
    http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driv...ormation/9753/

Remember, BIOS flashing is a risk and if not done properly can be fatal to your board, even sometimes when done properly.

    Flash at your own risk

you just email janus yeh, requesting the latest beta bios for your board (im not comfortable posting someones email in a forum.... but theres the link where someone else did)

now heres my next problem: what should the voltage be at?

Yes, I have posted it, and so has Janus MANY times, a few even in the DPC and DS3 larger problem threads

Voltages are up to you and your temps/cooler setup. The normal going max said for 65nm CPU's was 1.45 with 1.50 getting up there for air coolers.

I ran my 3075(E6750) at up to 1.52 in the BIOS, and that was as far as I took it, with that being 1.49 or so actual. I used 1.425 BIOS setting 24/7 for a 3.4 overclock from 2.66.

For a quad 1.45 may be getting hot way sooner as there is 2 cores. You will just have to google are about your cpu and cooler and see what people got for overclocks with what voltages. That is the main decider..... your cooler

im looking for a base starting point, so far, i knocked it down to ~1.005 and bumped up the fsb a hair to 278. the temps dropped like a rock, 43C to 50C under 100% load across all 4 cores. im running f@h smp client, and she hasnt skipped a beat, actually the perfomance has improved slightly. if i can get out a few work units without any eue's, and it looks like i will, im going to be very pleased
