    Unhappy Failiure to do anything!

Turn PSU power on, press motherboard's power button and the monitor displays... nothing, the screen isn't even receiving a signal.

There's no "interal speaker", so I don't know if there's any beeping.

Any ideas what could be going wrong?

    Many thanks.

First you should remove all but one ram stick in slot one, try to boot and see if that helps. Second I would try to start it outside of the case, not on the motherboard tray (Maybe a wooden table or countertop, just be sure nothing could short it out) to be sure you are not shorting out on anything

Also, what CPU model is that, so I can check to be sure your board may have shipped with the proper BIOS to support that CPU. If it may not have you may need a older 775 CPU to get started and flash the BIOS.

Also, do you have a different graphics card to try out, that one could be DOA
