So you RMA'd the card then, did you test it and find it to be bad? Well, I hope you get a good one sent back to you if that was the issue.

Well i hope also the card was bad!
I tried everything to make it work ...

The problem is that my PC rebooted, gives BSoD, .... when there was something 3D on the screen. Even on the 3D preview in Catalyst Control center, it reboots directly ...
In Vista itself, it gives me a 'display drivers has stopped responding and has recovered'-error every 5 -6 minutes ...

Even when I installed the card in my other PC (DFI LanParty NF4, AMD X4400+, OCZ Extreme 2GB, 650W PSU, ...), I have prefect the same problem!

Now with the X1900XT installed, I have no problems at all.
The GPU gives me a much higher fps than on my older PC :)
I can run MemTest for the whole night without errors, run benchmarks (3DMark06, Everest Ultimate, 4 hours Prime95, wPrime, Hot CPU Tester, ...) without problems ..
So I think the rest of my PC is pretty stable ...
First I thought it was my PSU ... but it is a 1000W Corsair PSU (HX1000).

I have tried many solutions found on forums of users having a similar problem ...
    But none worked ...
Also I didn't find anyone with identical problem ...
Many users can play a game for 15min before it gives an error ...
    I could't even start a 3D game ....

I also tried installing XP 32bit, XP 64bit, Vista 32bit and Vista 64bit.
Windows Vista 64bit is what i'm using now ...

I look forward to receive my precious 4870X2 ....

I have another problem too .... but its not that bad ...
I'm in love to have 4870X2 in Crossfire ... I just want it!! :D
But with an 22" LCD, It wouldn't give me anything extra :(
So It would be stupid to buy such setup ...
    First i need a 30" LCD before i do that ..

    Ahh no biggie!

Nice to see you are all fixed up now though, and hope your RMA comes along faster then it has been. Seems they are slow apparently!
