Default EP35-DS3R "Unlinking" Memory and FSB ?

    Hi!

On ASUS boards I had the ability to "unlink" the memory frequency from the FSB frequency when overclocking. This would allow me to for example always run memory at DDR2-800 speed while working a processor overclock, thus removing the memory from any possible list of issues.

I don't see anything obvious in the EP35-DS3R F3 BIOS menus - is this capability there and named something odd ?

If not, is there a way to "lock" the memory frequency so you can just change the FSB frequency ? I see that when I select a memory multiplier the memory frequency changes accordingly when I change the FSB frequency.

    Thanks!

That is AMD only options, Intel chipsets do not allow you to "unlink" this
