    Hey RedSquare, have you got the f10 BIOS? Also try increasing ICH1/O to 1.57V and decreasing CPUPLL to 1.5V or less. Also MCH in the range 1.26V to 1.3V. Worked for me (see previous post) but I understand P45 chipsets are all individuals.

    I want to tag along on this thread because I am getting the same symptoms with a GA-EP45-UD3P w/OCZ Reaper HPC and was hoping that LSDmeASAP could work his magic with Gigabyte to get a new BIOS for the UD3P with the S3 fix included. I am running the latest F8f and I don't think it is in there. I have started a new thread to get help with memory timings, but I have included that info here just for overkill.

    Everything seems stable except coming out of S3 sleep where I get short power cycles with full fans - the power light & fans come on but not the monitor. Sometimes this will just cycle indefinitely until I power down the machine and sometimes it will crash and reboot completely. It seems stable and fine after that reboot.

    Thanks for any assistance with the BIOS issue you can provide!

    I believe they are still working on S3 for the UD3 models, I will ask when I speak with them next.

    Seems to me strange that S3 with the same motherboard and BIOS settings will work for some, but not for others. I am starting to believe that the power supply used with each system is a key factor in getting S3 to work. Has anyone fixed S3 problems by simply changing to another power supply?

    That may be a factor, but for me S3 was working and then it broke. So I am thinking it is some software I installed or an OS update that got me.

    The list below is for another machine that S3 never worked on, the working->broke statement does not apply there. S3 never worked on the config below.

    If you believe it is caused by a driver or program that runs you can always try safe mode, or MSconfig and choose diagnostic startup or selective and try to narrow things down.
