    Default ocz2rpr12001g wont work at 1066 on ep45-ds3r

    i just bought ( ocz2rpr12001g times 4) and i cant get it work faster then 800mhz on a ep45-ds3r! Everytime i go for 1066 it will crash on boot! Does anyone have stable memory settings for running this at 1066!

    Please post your full specs, what speed you are running your CPU at and fill this in and I will post you back some settings >>>>

    ok im running a quad core q9450 (333mhzx8)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

    Ok lets try 1066 first with very loose timings, then we will work on higher speeds

    ok i did exactly what u saidm but no luck it spat the dummy! didnt even get to boot! I even changed it to 333mhz, and same think happened! Just doesnt like it! Any other settings we can use!

    Seems to me that your tRAS is set too low. Try to increase its value to 28. Based in the CPU-Z readings (33-5=28).
    Once booting normally start to bring it down.

    sorry i typed it wrong tras shoud be jedec2 15 and 18 for epp

    Ouch! tras above 15 then the ram is no good!

    I see it was a typo though

    Are you SURE that ram is not DOA? Have you tested it in another board or yours with memtest86+

    It for sure should have ran with the very loose timings above. Unless you need a higher Static tRead Value. Try all again with Both Static tRead Values set to 12

    And try
