Thread: Bios Not Saving/Changing when saved

  1. #1

Default Bios Not Saving/Changing when saved

Okay I just updated my bios with F9 however when I go to o/c in bios its not saving over to the new settings. Instead it keeps loading old ones. Is this a common problem? Or did I do something wrong?

If you haven't already, you might try loading optimized settings, reboot, then tweak.

You can likely keep your mouse plugged in, Just disable Legacy USB storage Detect in the Integrated Peripherals page if you are not using a USB disk drive.

If you are then you are going to need to add some volts somewhere.

This is why I asked you in my reply to your message to keep things in your post. I think you have a few here now, Which I do not mind at all. But Since this is here and your other thread is somewhere else I have no idea what you are trying to run your system at.

Glad you got this solved though, if you need help with your overclocking please post what you are using in your overclock thread that is failing for you.

If you are running smooth great to hear it! Good luck on the tweaking and post back anytime!

Thanks LSD for the heads up.

Now it seems as though when I load windows my system freezes? Now sure whats going on or how to fix it but I'm sure LSD does :) As soon as I go to click on something it freezes up. Before that I got an error saying that windows had a error and to put disk in and press R to repair I did that but still freezes up after windows loads up I see my desktop but thats as far as it goes.

    (I hope)

What settings are you using now? Static tRead to low?

Can you open a run command window in windows?
