    ok here's another question. how to change the memory divider for this mobo? min currently 5:6.thinking of changing it to 1:1.is it better?

    and btw,my ram is 800MHz.

    It is System Memory Multiplier in the MIT Section of the BIOS. 1:1 may or may not be better, only testing your hardware will let you know

    2.00 = 1:1 in Gigabyte Boards

    At 1:1 you will have you raise your FSB to at least 400 to run your ram at 800Mhz
