Default GA-EP45C-DS3R Resume from S3 BSOD

    I recently bought a GA-EP45C-DS3R motherboard and have 2 x 2GB Crucial memory installed in the DDR3 slots. The part number for the memory module is CT25664BA1339 CT25664BA1339 - 2GB, 240-pin DIMM , DDR3 PC3-10600 from

Module Size: 2GB
Package: 240-pin DIMM
Feature: DDR3 PC3-10600
Specs: DDR3 PC3-10600 CL=9 Unbuffered NON-ECC DDR3-1333 1.5V 256Meg x 64
The Crucial memory selector did not have my motherboard listed so I bought the one that matches the memory configuration for the motherboard. The PC is solid when running Vista (x64) + Sp1 but as soon as I resume from S3 standby, it crashed with BSOD.

Resuming from hibernation is fine and it does not crash. I have tried BIOS F3 and F4b but no joy. I have opened a case with Gigabyte but they have been unable to help me so far. Any help would be appreciated!

Lots of people have been experiencing this problem. It's good that you brought it to Gigabyte's attention, so hopefully they will start to connect the dots...
