    Hey man ive just tested the settings you gave me and gues what............it didnt work so far:)

    ive got som e questions tho.

    FSB Overvoltage Control can it also be +0.10......didnt had +0.1?
    (G) MCH Overvoltage Control can it also be 0.100 didnt had +0.1

    And the cpu voltage how much do you think i should increase? i tryed 1.40000
    Should HPET Support be on (Enabled)

    And most important question, the memory mullti....should it be A,B,C,D?

    And do you know of something special i should think of on the next try...........this time 2 quick reboots and stock like before.

    Yes, overclocking is not a Plug and Play thing, you may spend many hours tweaking things.

    Yes +0.1 is the same as +0.10, and +0.100, and +0.10000 and so on. It is still all .1
    Q6600 can take up to 1.5+. I would think 1.45 or below would be good. Watch your temps is all.

    HPET disabled for now if you like.

    Memory mutli, it will show you on the right side of the BIOS screen which letter corresponds to what strap, you want 333 or 400 strap

    Im sorry man ive tryed and tryed and nothing will keep:(

    I give up this is nothing for a common person that not understand, my memories have to go at 1066...........not 1800 (thats very sad)

    Ive tryed change the volt on the cpu to almost everything between 1.32500v up to 1.4 like you said.......just rebooting.........on the memory i tryed the lowest and the highest settings you rekommended, rebooting.

    Even tryed 1N-2N......same same.............tryed high fsb, and low fsb same same.......

    This cant be done:(.....................again thanks for your help, atleast the computer works at stock, but its sad..............
    regreting buying thoose memoryes now

    Wondering if E8500 will be oki processor, atleast everything will be going at 1333, and the memory will follow????? maybe.............

    You may need more then 1.4 for sure. What speed CPU was you trying? You may even need 1.5 set in the BIOS, all depends on your chip, and what speed you are trying at the time

    RMA the ram for better brand, and slower speeds if you do not like it. I would not keep it if I did not like it

    1333 FSB CPU will only run at 333 FSB, which you are already past so that would not help at all, and is not your issue. You likely need more volts

    Please post what is failing that you are trying

    No problem about PM'n me, I just rather speak here so I can always see what we have discussed, and so that others may later view if they look up your parts as well.

    Trying the lowest of something I suggested likely will not work. I normally suggest a range, with the lowest being what you would tweak down to later once you get stable. Highest would be the most stable/easiest to boot.

    (Is there anything else i should maybe turn off in the bios that stops it???, what Bios exact do you recommend.......witch is most reliable??

    I tested one thing that didnt make any sence??? I Turned on the overclock own settings..........but didnt touch anything i keept the bios own choice just to see what happened!
    2 quick reboot and then the same????? whats going on......no OC or nothing, why dont it wanna save it and go to windows..........!!!!!!!
    Im using F5c should i change!

    Ya, you should use a NON Beta BIOS

    Sounds to me like either your BIOS is not good, or your ram is not compatible with this board. Or the ram itself is DOA, which happens. Did you ever test each stick by itself with memtest86+?


    If this does not work for you then your ram is likely dying or bad >>>

    I tryed the setting upov you told me............not a chanse it worked, changed timings and the volts you wrote.

    I cant see how the memoryes are damaged or on the way to die, when bios desides the settings..........computer dont even do a tiny hickup!

    I play age of empires on lan daily for hours, tonight i tryed Crysis warhead and not a single brake o anything and im doing musik every day, im glad my computer is this fast at this state..............( i was just trying to rise the memory a little) had helped.............the most enoying thing is that everyone can do it but not me.....NO OC HERE no no no heheheheheh.

    I read the other night on the net about a guy hwo had the same board and processor........not sure about the memory, he had the same problem........tryed to OC but bios woulndt save it, he tryed different bios like me but no no no no.
    Hes computer stock flowed fine all the time.........but oc impossible.
    Can it be that X48T DQ6 has a bios problem???? i would think so.........!
    Ive tryed your settings and many other on other pages on the net.........but no luck!............even dead bords because of the bios (right bios to they say) thats not good....................!

    Finally i will thank you for your time, very kind that you tryed to help me out....but now i give up........i dont see any chance at all that this board will overclock................once again thanks man!!!!!

    Well....

    Could be the BIOS, have you tried them all that support your CPU? If so, you may just have to wait to overclock for a newer BIOS
