Beta ones have a letter after them, or specifically say beta in the description

Here is F5 final from Taiwan, I find no F6. I find no known issues with this version, a past F5 did kill some boards, but this is for sure the fixed version! >>>

Hey, i just flashed the bios you recommended..........worked good to flash:)

I loaded optimized defaults directly of course and turned off eist and other powersaving stuff:)

I only tryed to put on OC settings and left it the way bios wnted from the beginning..........its still the same.....boots...posts...then reboot again........i didnt change anything just OC function on (ENABLE)

Strange,,,,,,,,,bios has settings from the beginning that works very fine......i use it all the time. But when im Enabling (without touching anything) it wont boot like it should.

Boot twise and the disables the OC setting...........very very strange indeed!
But now i atleast have the good F5 as bios, nice

Is this a common problem with gigabyte motherboards o general all over..........or maybe just me hehehehehe.

Because at stock it works great.......nothing is broken or so, cant just figure out why it wont like any settings at all????? not any?

Well Just OC function, not sure what that means but if you did that ONLY then sure you wont get booted. You need to set your Ram voltages and possibly MCH voltage

Did you try the settings fully Again I gave you on page 2? Maybe that ram is not compatible? Is it on the list?

You can host images free at imageshack.us, tinypic.com, or photobucket.com

Then either post a link here or the direct image url in img tags like so >>>
    [img]direct ulr of image here[/mg]

Yeap, your ram is on the list, looks to be supported to me KHX14400D3K2/2G. That 1GB just shows what module it is

You may just need to adjust things more I suppose

Wow thanks for the tip this will indeed come in handy, i read every day more and more people that got problems with this mobo and ddr3 memoryes.........maybe i should start to get it at 1333 first, i dont really know. Have a look at the pictures and maybe you come up with an idea, mine starting to running out:)

Ya, lets try 1333 for now. if it was me though I would be returning the ram as it does not run at stated speeds for sure!

I see you have PCI Express in AUTO, that could be why everything is failing for you, I told you it must be set at 100 when you overclock!!!

This is ram speed 1286 >>>>

    Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto
    CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [7]
    CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [402] <<< Use 402 or so as 400 is RIGHT on the strap line and is not the best way to do it.

PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100] << PLEASE ALWAYS SET to 100!!!
    C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
    System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [3.20]

DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]

    Performance Enhance = [Standard]

    CAS Latency Time________________ 8
    Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 8
    Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______8
    Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 24

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 4-6 (6)
Rank Write to READ Delay________6-14 (14)
Write to Precharge Delay_________ 8-16 (16)
Refresh to ACT Delay______________ 62-72 (72)
Read to Precharge Delay__________ 4-8 (8)
    Static tRead Value_______________7-12 (12)
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 1-31=Auto (YES Always AUTO Or Zero, Or 1-31) (AUTO)

    CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control [800mV]
CPU Clock Skew Control [normal] Tryed (150)
GMCH Clock Skew Control [Normal] Tryed (250) << Try 150-200

    System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
    DDR3 OverVoltage Control__ [1.5 Default] +0.4 = 1.9V (same)

    PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [Normal]
FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.1] << For stability
    (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.1] << For stability (Maybe +.15 -.2 as you increase speeds)......................(Tryed +15)
    Loadline Calibration = Auto
    CPU Voltage Control_______ Normal=1.32500v

This is so damn lame, thoose memory should be able to come up to 1900mhz, what a laugh.

In other words this didnt work either i tryed settings upove, and i think no setting in the whole world would it seems.

Works awsome on stock???? but cant overclock.........how is this possible?
I bought them because they could do extremelly well....ye at 1066:)

What would settings be for crucial ballistix 800mhz memory 2gig 2 modules, just to see if this motherboard will clock at all???

What memory would you recommend to get if i want new ones:)

Hmm just realized that they will not fit, because ddr2................but i will be happy if you could recommend some others and do you think they will help???
