You only need @bios to flash from FD to Fe5. Once flashed with Fe5 you wont need @bios to flash a newer bios.

Like I said before you only need @bios because the file size from FD to Fe5 is different. If they were the same you could use q-flash. Because they are not the same size you have to use @bios.

You only need to use @bios ONCE. After that you can use Q-flash.

I have said this a couple different times. @bios is only need because the bios file size is different. Old bios size is 1024kb new bios is 2048kb. Q-flash does not like this change.

Just use @bios to flash Fe5. When FE or Ff1 comes out you can use q-flash.

    I would say Fe5.

Here is the list of bios's available.

    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FD1
    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FD3
    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FE2 -AHCI error
    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FE5
    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FE7
    GA-X58A-UD5 (2.0) - FF1

Gigabyte only has Fe5 on their website has they had problems with Fe7 and FF1. If you have Fe5 or FE flashed, You can use q-flash to flash Fe7 or FF1.

You can try FF1 out if you like. You can use q-flash to flash FF1 or to flash back to Fe5. I Have tried it once or twice. I am currently not using it. I would suggest staying at Fe5 until gigabyte re-releases the bios update.
