Thanks for your link, my previous link is now updated

I tried but FPT erase Intel NIC's MAC address, so it's useful to know your original MAC address (also usually on a label stuck on the motherboard).

    Very interesting but.
Never had troubles flashing bioses but this one... i don't even get it extracted!

    Downloads - GA-C1037UN-EU (Rev. 1.0) - NM70 - Chipset CPU Onboard - Motherboard - GIGABYTE

Go ahead.. doesnt work on 64 bit win 7 at least. Cant extract with 7zip nor winrar.

I know everywhere here one is warned to use ~ Qflash and not @BIOS, but I'm about to re-flash my BIOS on a GA-X58A-UD7 with a modified version of F9d. As I remember I HAD to use @BIOS last time I used the standard beta BIOS F9d due to size limitations with ~ Qflash. Will that be so this time too...or only the first time? [or is there a new, improved version of ~ Qflash that can handle the larger BIOS files now? Thanks. Wanted to ask before I attempt this....

Also, I just saw someone on the Gigabyte Official Forum said that to be sure the BIOS chip was drained of all current, one shouldn't take out the battery for ten minutes or even 30, but several hours - is this really necessary?! My PSU does have very large storage capacitors, but I thought I'd just disconnect the main cable to the MB and video card.
