Yes, please post your full settings you are using now that pass memtest but fail Prime95, and we can see what voltage you may need to adjust

Tried so many settings to get it working however I tried what you recommended and still can't get to pass prime95 I know that vcore can't be the problem because its getting more than enough power now. Just keeps resetting though. I'm not sure what other settings are to try so I'm back here :

also I have a quesiton on some of these auto settings? Should I change all these to stock settings? Because wouldn't auto increase them auto?

Yes, some Will increase/decrease on Auto. Not sure which you mean, but the answer is yes they will vary while you use the system.

And Again, Crucial is NOT as good as they used to be.... So if $$ is no issue to you, I would sell/return those and get something else

    Try this >>>>

okay will looking into getting more ram. Now can you tell me if this is a problem with Gigabyte and Crucial because all from looking online most of the people that seem to have problems with the memory are all Gigabyte users? Also is there something that explains the details to what is bios f10 beta? Maybe they corrected something within this?

Well, As for your deleted comment

Were those both the exact same mushkin sticks/models you was testing? And did you have the proper settings for them? Could be any reason why you found those to not work right then.

Crucial and Ga boards have never worked well together I think, and as for all the other ram brand users and GA-P45 boards... There is just so many more available variables in the BIOS now most users are lost when it comes to getting things going. A very big change from most boards, and GA-P35 boards BIOS's

But like I said, if you have cash to spare for new ram it would be better, not that you NEED to get some. If I remember right, we did have your crucial working right at one time correct?

Na, no news I can find on F10 Beta, what letter is after F10 and I will look later today? If you mean F10g, then I see what you see, just improved memory performance, not stability/compatibility

So let me ask you this what is consider Name brand ram to you? Because I have the Mushkin and from going into the Frys computer store (big computer store in Austin) when I asked if they have Mushkin they say they don't carry generic memory? That they only carry name brand. I don't know if this makes a difference but that is what they are telling me. So what is considered name brand to you? Here is information regarding my memory: BL2KIT12864AA106A - 2GB kit (1GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM , DDR2 PC2-8500 from Crucial.com

Also it would be nice to know on some of these Bios updates what they really mean by what has been updated. But I guess I will try:
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500). Tell me if Gigabyte fairs well with that brand? Or what is best brand for Gigabyte.

Also as I said other times in the thread LSD the memory passes Memtest ran test 2 for 3 hours all passes ran test 5 again for 5 hours and 29 mins and all passes. My memory has 3 fans and is a chill as can be nicely. Also I am stable at 3.6GHz. I am just trying to push this processor to its max and so far I can past memtest at 3.8GHz. So wouldn't that mean that the memory isn't the thing that is affecting it?

Okay here is a list off all Ram companies. However now I look on line at Gigabyte site and see that some of the brands listed some have listed under different speeds and ram sizes. For example: 512MB Geil GX21GB8000UDC

Will 1 gb of Geil be supported at ddr2 (8500) 1066 or just up to 512mb based on this Qualified Vendors List supplied by Gigabyte?

    Centon
    Corsair Memory, Inc.

    GeIL
    Kingmax

Gigabytes list is way outdated, and needs somethings removed, and lots added in my opinion.

Mushkin is FOR SURE A brand name, and has been around for a very long time and is a staple in Ram Benchmark testing. Just check out some reviews, you will find way old and plenty new >>>

Sorry I guess you and me got us sidetracked a bit. Your quad may not do 3.8 or 3.7 even stable with your cooling. Did the last settings I gave you work any better for 3.7? You may also need to use 2.1 on your ram, but I think likely not since you are still underclocking them

So, yeah it is likely your CPU either is too hot or you need more volts to go past where you are now
