Default Buffalo Firestix RAM with EP45-DS3R (F7)

    Hello all!

I recently assembled a new system and I've noticed my RAM doesn't seem to be running up to snuff.
I've got Buffalo Firestix FSX800D2B-K4G, 2x2GB. Here's a shot of a sheet I got from the manufacturer site. That's all I can find for my memory...

Anyway, it should be running at 800MHz, but according to EasyTune6 it's only at 400MHz? Also the timings look weird, I can't tell if things are set correctly or not.

The only thing I've changed in my BIOS is to set
    DRAM Voltage ……....1.800V............: 2.1V

Is there something else that I need to change?

    EDIT:
Also, I was just checking CPU-Z, and it tells me my memory is still only at 1.8V?

CPU-z only shows the recommended voltage for your RAM, not your actual voltage.

RAM runs at double date rate, so for 800 ram, the actual frequency is 400mhz, nothing wrong with that.

oh! good to know... Of course it would be something silly like that.

In that case I guess everything is probably running fine. The timings don't seem quite right to me but I'm sure they're fine too.

    Thanks!

Well If you would like some help please post your settings you are using. Since you changed the voltage to 2.1 it should be there. You will need to use Easytune, or Everest or PcWizard to check actual ram voltage as said above

You do need to add some MCH voltage for sure for 2x2GB. If you want as I said post me your settings and I will post back some suggested >>>>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours
